Duncan G - Burlington, ON
Entrepreneurship: A learning experience
Duncan had a fascination with computers from a very young age. As the internet grew in popularity during his high school years, he taught himself web programming and became very good at it. When he made the transition into the working world, he figured, "Why not put my skills to use?"

Duncan started developing an online PC parts distribution site catered towards the North American market. He found the actual web development to be a breeze, and even managed to get in touch with a PC parts manufacturer in Taiwan. But his plans came to a standstill when he started contemplating his supply chain and logistics needs. Where would his inventory be stored? Signing a multi-year lease for a commercial storage warehouse just didn't make any sense. The business had not even been launched yet!

Three weeks before his first vendor shipment was scheduled to arrive, Duncan contacted Primebin desperately looking for an inventory warehousing solution. He was setup and registered within minutes, and was easily able to direct his shipments straight to his 'remote warehouse'.

With no upfront setup costs, Duncan was happy that he was only paying for storage he was actually using. Primebin's flexible pricing meant Duncan could control and replenish his inventory levels based on his sales volumes. Without a high monthly lease rate, his operating costs dropped significantly, and he was able to turn a profit much quicker than anticipated.
